Introduction


There are 1284 computer systems in the college with 10 servers, 29 notebooks, 96 workstations and 1149 desktop PCs. The systems ranging from Intel core i3, AMD Athlon XP 64, AMD Athlon X2, Intel core 2 duo, Intel quad core Xeon, Intel Itanium 2 to the latest configurations are available. The different servers and workstations are HP rx2600 integrity server, HP Proliant ML 110, HP Proliant DL380, HP Proliant ML150 G3, SUN Fire V210, HP XW-4300, DELL Precision 370n.

Various Software’s like Windows 2003 server, Fedora core 4.0, Windows 7 professional, Windows XP professional, Novell Netware 4.11/5.0,Adobe creative suite 3.0, Oracle 10g, IBM rational suite, are also installed and configured in the computers.

Each department is provided with a separate computer laboratory and they are interconnected through optic fiber cable.
