About Department :

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering has been established in 1995 with     BE - Computer Science and Engineering and ME - Computer Science and Engineering started in 2002. The Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programmes are operational with intakes of 240 and 18 respectively. The Department has been recognized as a Research Center by Anna University in the year 2012 for conducting Ph.D. and MS (by Research). The Department is accredited since 2003 by NBA, New Delhi.

To be centre of excellence in the field of Computer Science and Engineering education, producing globally competent professionals with social responsibilities.

1. Sustain an environment conducive to quality education in engineering and research.
2. Provide a learning ambience to enhance problem solving skills, leadership qualities and team spirit with ethical responsibilities.
