Achievements & Awards

The tough journey of a team of four students (Padmakumar R , Sivapriya MS , Saranya P, Vishnu K ), who finished in 14th place in the finals after fighting against 400 teams from across the nation, in the Intel(R) OneAPI HACKATHON, Indian institute of Science (IISC) Bangalore, is one that the Department of Computer Science and Business Systems (CSBS) is quite proud of and enjoys sharing. It is amazing to know that our students got qualified for Phase One and listed among the chosen 60 Teams out of 400. In Phase Two, our team got selected among the Top 23.

Mohammed Aathil. K, (2020-2024 batch) got Selected as a UIPath Student developer Champion by UIPath for 2022-2023

R.Padmakumar has got selected as  AngelHack Student Ambassador to empower students to grow individually and impact through technologies in local communities.

K.Mohammed Aathil got Selected as a Reskill Inspirer selected by Reskill Community. He is one of the chosen few across India who will lead students in our city by making them Innovation Ready and help them explore careers.

V.S.Akshaya and R.Padma kumar has been selected as Techgig campus and community ambassador and and won reward of $17 USD.

S.Merwin Joshuwa,G.Parthasarathy,W.Praveen Kishore,V.Madhesh finalist in PLI Blockathon India’22  and  won the Prize amount of $250 USD worth of XDC (Crypto Currency)

K.Mohammed Aathil won a Prize amount of $250 USD in Unleash your Power competition in the IBM zSystems Student Ambassador Program which is run in Partnership by IBM zSystems and Your Big Year.

Out of 977 teams, three of our team members Kaviyashree, Achithra and Srinikethan got selected and participated in the final round of  Unlokc 22 Hackathon organized by Kimberley clerk and Hack2Skill, Bangalore

G.Divyashree  won the second prize in the state level essay competition conducted by Department of chemistry in association with Ministry of Culture.

39  students effectively completed the Google Cloud Facilitator Program  2022 and received Swags from Google

Ten of our students attended the Hacktoberfest 2022 event and won badges

Team Tycoons- N.Amirthavarshini, B.R.Varshambigai, B.M.Sivaprakash, M.Vikram, S.Priyadharshini participated in Dev Bhoomi Hackathon 2022 conducted by IIT Roorkee and Uttarakhand Police at IIT Roorkee.They got Shortlisted in the first 30 teams out of 818 teams registered.

Madhesh.V,Praveen Kishore.W ,Parthasarathy.G,Kishore S.V, Nijanthan.S and Dhanushree.R of our department developed an application regarding space studies in International Space Application Challenge, and received a certificate from NASA.

Madhesh.V , has got selected as an International Astronomical Search Collaboration (IASC) Citizen Scientist at NASA

Tharun M has Won 3rd Prize in the Reskill-SPARK AR COLOR-A-THON, a National Level Competition 2022.

Harshini , has won 1st Prize in International Speech Contest 2022- AREA-C4, DIST-120 organized by International Toast Masters Club.

In the Finals of the Idea Contest competition of Techknow 2022 Event conducted by Anna university, Chennai, Divya Shree, Vikram, Swathika, Nijanthan, Badri Narayanan, and Merwin Joshuwa were ranked in the Top 25 (13th Position) out of 1500+ teams that had registered across the state.

13 Students successfully finished the Census Sql Competition – Run Sql and received goodies from SQL 2022.

6 students successfully finished the Salesforce – Trail Hack 2022 and received goodies from SalesForce TrailHead.

8 students received goodies from Open Source Hackathon Conduct By Angelhack – Hacktoberfest 2022.

35 students effectively completed the Learn to Earn Google Cloud Challenge 2022 and received Swags from the Google.

Dharshan.V completed Google cloud computing foundation course by GOOGLE EXPERTS among Top 200 selected participants all over India .

Surya Prakash K, Mohammed Aathil K , Amirthavarshini N, Nijanthan S and Merwin Joshuwaa S were tagged with Campus superhero 2022 at Coding Blocks.

Kishore S.V  got selected for creating Augmented Reality (AR) effects for Facebook and Instagram using Spark AR studio, among Top 10 all over India in 2022.

Dharshana A and Kishore S.V bagged up the 1st prize and award in the Anna University Zonal Level Chess Championship 2021.

Mohammed Aathil completed Graphic Design and Critical Thinking which was certified by LinkedIn

Dharshan V finished the Intel-Certified Vino Tool Kit 2021

64 students received goodies from Reskill, for creating AR effects for Facebook and Instagram using Spark AR studio 2022.

50 students efficaciously built and deployed Gatsby sites in GATSBY cloud 2021.

42 Students successfully finished the Microsoft AI Classroom Programme 2021

38 students completed the International Cisco certification on “Cybersecurity Essentials”

29 students successfully completed the RPA boot camp training and received certification on Introduction to RPA and automation from Hack2skill & Ui path.

27 students magnificently completed the Shape AI Programme 2021.

24 students efficaciously deployed the SQL model in SQL census server 2021.

22 Students successfully finished the Cloud X Lab Training 2021.

17 students effectively completed the Learn to Earn Google Cloud Challenge 2021 and received Swags from the Google.

12 students successfully completed GUVI Training on Python

11 students efficaciously completed the Qwiklabs Diwali Challenge 2021 and received Swags from Google.

7 students effectively completed the Google cloud 30 days’ challenge 2021 and received Swags from Google.

7 students successfully completed IBM-Red Hat Certified System Administration (RHCSA) training.

7 students efficaciously completed the Google Cloud Facilitator Program 2021 with Ultimate Milestones and received Swags from Google.

6 students participated in National Level Hackathon-Innothon 2021 and selected for finals.

Mr.Dharshan and Mr.Mohammed Aathil Completed in a TECH GIG Open Coding  Round Competiton and won with a perfect score in collaboration with cognizant.

In collaboration with cognizant and Bosch Mr.Dharshan and Mr.Mohammed Aathil took part in the TECH GIG BOSCH AI Hackathon 2021.

In the Google Developer Solution Challenge 2021 Mr.Dharshan and Mr.Mohammed Aathil took part.

6 students were successfully completed QwikLabs Hands on Cloud Training.
