International Day of Yoga, or regularly and informally alluded to as Yoga Day, is commended every year on 21 June since its commencement in 2015. An International day for yoga was proclaimed consistently by the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). Yoga is a physical, mental, and otherworldly practice ascribed for the most part of India. Yoga, an ancient but perfect science, deals with the evolution of humanity. This evolution includes all aspects of one's being, from bodily health to self realization. Yoga means union - the union of body with consciousness and consciousness with the soul. Yoga cultivates the ways of maintaining a balanced attitude in day to day life and endows skill in the performance of one's actions.
Yoga is that practice which can clean you up completely talk of the physical garbage or the mental garbage. It enlightens the one who practices it on a regular basis. It purifies the body by removing the toxins from the body and empowers us to take up the challenges in life however harsh the challenge may be. It should be made a part of human existence as necessary as having food and doping with the morning rituals. Yoga also empowers us enough to discover happiness in making the world a happy place to live in. It lights up the fire inside for a life full of zeal and excitement. There is uncountable number of benefits related to practicing yoga. The best thing is that it does not demand for your money to let you feel the light of good health leading to a good wealth. 


YOGA CLUB (2017-2018)


Our institution is aware of conducting yoga programmes in our institution starting from 2017 onwards.Dr.A.Nagarajan Professor, Department of Mathematics is the in charge of Yoga day celebrations.
On 21.6.2017 the international yoga day was celebrated in our campus with our principal Dr.N.Mahendran and the chief guest was Mr.K.Rajagopal, yoga trainer from Dindigul.

On 21.6.2018 the international yoga day was celebrated in our campus with our Prochairman Rtn.R.S.K.Raguramanand with our principal Dr.N.Mahendran

YOGA CLUB (2019-2020)
On 21.6.2019 the international yoga day was celebrated in our campus with our ProchairmanRtn.R.S.K.Raguraman and with our principal Dr.N.Mahendran and the chief guest was Mr.K.Rajagopal, yoga trainer from Dindigul.For the above three years a team of members from World Community Service Centre group trained our staffs in order to make them energetic and relive themselves from stress.

YOGA CLUB (2020-2021)
Due to pandemic situation prevailing the international yoga day was celebrated on 21.6.20 at online mode with the chief guest was the senior professor M.K.Dhamodharan,President from World Community Service Centre,Dindigul under the guidance of our principal Dr.D.Vasudevan.


Student Induction Program (SIP) for first year students was conducted virtually from 18.11.20-24.11.20. Mrs.Tamil Selvi-Asst.Prof.in Yoga gave a lecture on the topic "Udalnalam and Mananalam" on 20.11.20 stating the Importance of physical as well as mental health.On 21.11.20 Mr.K.Thirunavukkarasu,AO-LIC,fromUdumalai gave the necessity of doing yoga and its uses under the topic "Kayakalpa-Narpanbugal". YOGA-DEMO-Prof.M.K.Dhamodharan, from World Community Service Centre, Arivu ThiruKovil ,Dindigul gave YOGA-DEMO to the students on 23.11.20 and 24.11.20.


For the year 2021 international yoga day is celebrated as a Guinness world record along with World Community Service Centre from, Arivuthirukovil,Aliyar founded by ShriVethathiri Maharishi (1911–2006).This was an live program conducted on youtube channel SKY YOGA TV. All our staffs and students participated in this event .

Yoga is a practice that cleanses you, talking completely about physical garbage or mental garbage. It enlightens the one who adheres to it on a regular basis. It cleanses the body by removing toxins from the body and empowers us to take on challenges in life. It should be a part of essential human existence like food and stimulants along with breakfast rituals. Yoga empowers us enough to find happiness in transforming the world into a happier place to live. It illuminates the fire for a life full of zeal and enthusiasm. There are numerous benefits associated with practicing yoga. The best thing is that it does not require your money to realize the light of good health that leads to a good fortune.
Our institution has been aware of conducting yoga programs in our company since 2017.As Per AICTE instructions, International yoga day was celebrated on 21st June 2021 in our institution through online mode
